The winter in Greenland is cold! But it's obvious that due to the low humidity the cold feels quite different in Greenland than in our part of the world. In the wintertime with the right clothing there is no problem staying outside for several hours.

The average temperature in Northgreenland will typically in wintertime stay around minus 15 degrees Celcius, but there can be big fluctuations.

North of the Arctic Circle it's polar night ..... meaning there is a period in the winter, where the sun never arises above the horizon. In the Disco Bay it means that the sun is not seen from end of November to mid January.

Already at the vernal equinox in March the days again are longer in Greenland than in all southerly places at the northern hemisphere.
