Did you know, that very many in Greenland in summer time live on the growing tourism? - including the mosquitos.. Remember a mosquito net and insect repellant. The small beasts can be rather annoying on a fantastic day in the hills.

11 days with a guide and complete programme in Kangerlussuaq (Sondre Stromfiord), Ilulissat, Qeqertarsuaq and Eqi Sermia (The calving glacier).


Take a walk on the Ice Cap, sail between the huge icebergs, see the ice calve, see whales, visit a small settlement, experience the Greenlandic sledge dogs, visit a Greenlandic home to "Kaffemik" (serving coffee and home bakeries), walk in the mountains, experience the quietness and the fresh air – to make it short "The very best of Greenland in 11 days", with a guide on the whole tour.

Daily programme

Day 1
Flight Copenhagen-Kangerlussuaq, accommodation 1 night at the youth hostel Old Camp. Excursion to the Ice Cap, point 660, 5 hours tour.

Day 2
Flight Kangerlussuaq-Ilulissat, accommodation 2 nights at Hotel Icefjord. In Ilulissat there will be following excursions: 2 ½ hours midnight sail to the Ice Fiord, 5 hours sail to Rodebay incl. lunch, visiting a private home to "Kaffemik", sightseeingtour in the city incl. visit at the museum and a walk to the Sermermiut by the Ice Fiord.

Day 4
By passengership Ilulissat-Qeqertarsuaq, 07.00-11.30hrs. Accommodation 3 nights af Hotel Disko. Sightseeing tour in the city.

Day 5
Possibility to buy a dog sledge tour on the "Lyngmarksbræen" (the Lyngmark Glacier).

Day 7
By passengership back to Ilulissat. Accommodation at Hotel Icefiord 2 nights.

Day 9
By boat to the Eqi Sermia, where we will be accommodated in Ice Camp Eqi for 1 night.

Day 10
By boat back to Ilulissat for our last evening in the fantastic area

Day 11
Transfer to the airport and flights back to Denmark
