2 nights in Kangerlussuaq and 5 nights in Ilulissat in the Disco Bay gives you a good grounding to experience most of the different views of the Greenlandic summer. 
Old Camp is the starting point for far most of the excursions offered in Kangerlussuaq, and we recommend an excursion to the Ice Cap, reached by country-cross vehicles – or on a mountainbike, you can rent. In Kangerlussuaq there are several good possibilities for shorter or longer trekkingtours, and daily musk ox safaries are arranged. Read more about the excurions in this area here. After 2 nights in Kangerlussuaq the tour takes you by air to Ilulissat, which with its big and famous Ice Fiord has become a natural centre in Northgreenland for both tourism, trade and politics. Spend the days here to shorter or longer trekkingtours to the Ice Fiord, visit the birth home of Knud Rasmussen, which now is a museum and take one of the many sails bringing you even closer to the gigantic icebergs. Hotel Icefiord, which will be your base during the days in Ilulissat is situated such that all rooms have a view to the Disco Bay and from the sunny terrace it is good opportunities to enjoy the surrounding nature.
